​​Observation is a fundamental aspect of nature connection. We need to be able to see clearly if we are going to identify any plants, animals, or behavior that we may encounter. While it may be true that written language is unique to industrialized cultures, it's undeniable that storytelling is an ancient, cross-cultural human skill. And, in the modern world, nature journaling is a popular catalyst to deepen understanding.
